We meet every player where they are and grow them through skill-focused encouragement, instruction and joy.

School Enrichment (Grades K–5)Basketball clubs hosted at local elementary schools. We combine play, discipline and community values.6 to 10-week season; Sessions are available 1-2x/wk throughout the school year.
Basketball Classes and Clinics (Ages 4 to 16)Skill-based weekly classes focused on movement, fundamentals, teamwork, and confidence. Fun and engaging is our specialty.4 to 6-week seasons; Sessions are available 1-2x/wk mid August - mid-December and February - early June.
Private Training (1-on-1 & Duet; Ages 8 to 17)Personalized sessions to level up skills, prep for tryouts, or boost confidence.Sessions available February through June and August through December.
3-on-3 Youth League (Ages 5 –14)Fast-paced, inclusive league play for kids. Small teams = more touches, more fun, more growth.4-week season; Games 1-2x/wk during the Fall and Spring.

Coach JoJo Cadray

Coach JoJo Cadray is the founder of Community Ball, an initiative he launched in 2021 to create meaningful opportunities for young people through sport and mentorship. With nearly 30 years of experience coaching youth across the Southeast, Coach JoJo brings a deeply rooted commitment to using basketball as a vehicle for connection, empowerment, and community building.His career in education spans a wide range of roles, including teacher, administrator, athletic director, and longtime coach. In each capacity, he has served as a mentor, volunteer, and advocate for young people, particularly those who believe, as he does, that empathy, discipline, compassion, and community are essential ingredients for growth.Coach JoJo is also an active community member. He currently serves as Treasurer of the PTSA at Druid Hills Middle School and regularly volunteers at Fernbank Elementary. He holds certifications as a Georgia High School Athletic Community Coach, a DeKalb County Level III Volunteer, and has completed Safe Sanctuary Training.Before becoming “Coach JoJo,” he played four years of college basketball, primarily at the University of South Carolina under Coach Eddie Fogler. He later earned a degree in Math and Economics from Emory University and an M.B.A. from Mercer University’s Stetson-Hatcher School of Business.Coach JoJo lives in Druid Hills with his wife, Leah, and their two children, Avery and JP, along with Phil, Community Ball's beloved mascot pup. In the community, Coach JoJo continues to dedicate his time and talent to giving back to the place that has given so much to him.

Coach Colby

Born in Jackson, Mississippi and raised in the Atlanta area, Coach Colby has always seen basketball as more than just a game. It’s a language, a passion, and a fun way to connect with others.Since joining Community Ball in 2021, Coach Colby has been an integral part of the program’s mission-driven team and is proud to serve as one of its coaches. A proud alumnus of The Paideia School, he played varsity basketball under the mentorship of Coach JoJo and competed in elite AAU circuits, including three trips to AAU Nationals and two Silver Gauntlet titles. He has trained alongside professional athletes, but today, what matters most is using that experience to uplift and mentor the next generation of players.Coach Colby has coached athletes from kindergarten through early high school, always bringing care, intention, and high standards to each interaction. He believe basketball is an art form where footwork, timing, and defense each tell a story. As a coach, the goal is to help players not only grow their game, but develop the discipline, respect, and resilience that will serve them in all aspects of life.Coaching is personal, and for Coach Colby, it’s about doing meaningful work on and off the court.

Coach Jaylan

Coach Jaylan, a proud native of Fairburn, GA, is honored to be one of your Community Ball coaches. Basketball has been woven into his life for as long as he can remember; from early pickup games at the local park to his current role mentoring the next generation through Community Ball.He brings over 21 years of playing experience, including a standout high school career at The Paideia School, where he led varsity teams under the guidance of Coach JoJo. His journey continued through elite AAU circuit play and NCAA Division II competition. With more than a decade of coaching players across all age groups, Coach Jaylan carries a deep respect for the game and its power to shape lives.For him, coaching goes far beyond X’s and O’s. It’s about building confidence, teaching discipline, and helping young players realize just how much they’re capable of both on the court and in life. Every session with Coach Jaylan is grounded in heart, intention, and the belief that hard work leads to transformation.He’s here to help you grow, dream big, and play with purpose.

Coach Haylah

Coach Haylah is currently a senior at Agnes Scott College and has been passionate about basketball since the age of five, when she first picked up a ball at the ROC in Jonesboro, GA. Her playing journey includes varsity basketball starting in 6th grade, two years of experience on the AAU circuit, and two seasons of collegiate basketball at Agnes Scott.Basketball has played a major role in shaping who she is, instilling in her a deep sense of discipline, resilience, and joy. Now, as a coach, she’s excited to give back by mentoring younger players. Coach Haylah brings positivity, encouragement, and a strong belief that basketball is a powerful and fun way to grow both on and off the court.
